Lock for Instagram – Password & Code Protection is a handy application for the iOS operating system that you can use to add a password to your Instagram profile and access it without displaying your personal account info.

Once installed, the app will offer you two options, the first of them will allow you to create a new account, the second will allow you to protect your existing Instagram account.

In order to protect the account, you will be asked to provide a code that can be used to access the account. The code will be generated on the phone you have installed the app on, however, you can use the Lock app to send the code to another phone you want to protect.

Apart from this, you can choose to receive a daily reminder when your code expires to keep you on your toes.

There is a lock option available to the “Password” section, which can be turned on or off. Once turned on, the account will be locked and will require your code to access. If it is turned off, your Instagram profile will be left accessible without any password.
