Free-to-use large language model
As the new addition to Meta’s arsenal of language models, Llama 2 is a free-to-use, open-source large language model that has been trained on 40% more data than its predecessor. Albeit still in its early stages, the AI chat model can already hold decent conversations with any user.
User-friendly and very conversational
Currently available as a demo that can be accessed online or downloaded natively via registration, Llama 2 is trained on 2 trillion tokens and has twice the context length of its predecessor. Furthermore, the model is also trained on more than a million human connotations.
Users can also ask questions and write code. The interface is user-friendly, too. Just type in your prompt or query and the model will try to answer it accordingly. However, some of the answers get cut off due to the context length limitations or bits of information may be inaccurate.
Holds promise
Overall, Llama 2 holds potential as an AI chatbot. Since it has been trained on more data and human connotations compared to its predecessor, it’s sure to give correct if not a little bit inaccurate responses to prompts or queries. It’s accessible online or through a downloadable version.
