Horror escape room with a twist

LillyMonster is an indie game developed by Xero Stryker. It is a survival horror game challenging players to guide a little girl outside a creepy place. However, there is a creature that stops you. Even the girl makes the job seem impossible.

LillyMonster offers a new style of horror gaming. It combines the basic concept of an escape room with resource management and strategic planning. However, while its premise is unique, it sometimes lacks an explanation for how you should go about your task. It also does not help that the app’s control scheme is a little weird.

Escape with Lily

LillyMonster is a horror game that requires a strategy to complete. In this game, you play as the Guardian, who will lead Lily along. Your goal is to open the doors of the creepy place where Lily is locked. However, there is a monster on the loose that will stop you from doing so. As mentioned, even Lily will make the task difficult.

Lily is a troubled girl that needs constant attention. As you play along, she will have demands. She will be hungry and will want to take a nap. Sometimes, she would even want to sing. If you don’t meet these demands, she will cause chaos that will attract the enemy’s attention. With this, you will have to plan ahead and pay attention to her cues.

For more challenges, the game offers a mode where you manage Lily and keep her happy while trying to deliver seven eggs. All this while avoiding your enemy and navigating the maze-like map. However, as mentioned, the game is made more difficult by the lack of explanation of some mechanics. The weird control schemes will also make the experience relatively harder.

Neat little indie game

Overall, LillyMonster is a game worth trying out. Its gameplay takes the horror genre to a new height by adding resource management and strategic planning. However, its unique premise is made relatively difficult by its problematic controls. The lack of explanation of some mechanics also adds to the challenge. It is still a decent game though that casual players will like.
