Light the North: A Multimedia App to Explore the Lighthouse Sculpture Trail

Light the North is a multimedia app developed by Wild in Art Limited for the Lighthouse trail event organized by Clan Cancer Support. The app provides an interactive guide to explore over 45 lighthouse sculptures, each 2.5m tall, designed by some of the most talented artists in the UK. The event is set to take place from August 9th to October 17th, and it will be present in Aberdeen, the surrounding communities, Moray, Orkney, and Shetland. The app is available for iPhone users, and it is free to download.

The app aims to draw people to explore the trail and the surrounding areas, inspiring artists, schools, and the public from across the country to support Clan Cancer Support. The app is user-friendly, and it provides a comprehensive guide to the event, including the location of each lighthouse sculpture, information about the artists, and the history of Clan Cancer Support. At the end of the trail, each of the lighthouse sculptures will be auctioned off, and the funds raised will help Clan to support even more people affected by cancer.
