Free third-person shooter
Left to Survive is a free-to-play action game developed by MY.COM.BV. It is a third-person shooter that challenges you to play as one of the survivors of a zombie apocalypse. It puts you in zombie-infested streets where you complete missions that will have you face both the living and the undead.
Unlike other zombie survival games, Left to Survive is not solely about shooting zombies. It also added management mechanics, where you manage a camp of survivors and build structures by earning gold. The game also offers extra modes: raid, and competitive multiplayer for one-on-one or two-on-two matches.
What is Left to Survive?
Left to Survive is a zombie shooter game set in a post-apocalyptic scenario. You will play as one of the survivors with a mission to save humanity. The main campaign comes with four chapters, each made up of various stages. The majority of the campaign will task you to kill zombies as part of your mission. In between missions, you will also build and manage a camp for the survivors.
The game draws on classic management mechanisms, including the inevitable freemium elements. You will need to earn gold to unlock gears and weapons or speed up construction. More than the single-player campaign, there are also two extra online modes. The first one is the Raid, where you raid other players’ bases and collect their resources. The other one is the competitive PvP matches, where you can play one-on-one or two-on-two.
Left to Survive appears as a shooter on tracks, which means player movement is predetermined. Your character moves automatically to look for shelter. What you can control are aiming and shooting. The buttons on the left control the viewfinder, while the right buttons allow you to open fire, reload, or use close-combat weapons. Thanks to the predetermined nature of the shots, the graphics of the game appear detailed and well-animated.
Is the game good?
Left to Survive is a fun and solid shooter that offers extensive single-player and online competitive content. It also comes with fast but challenging missions and a responsive and precise control system. Moreover, the game looks beautiful thanks to its polygonal models and good effects. It is a pity that such a robust system comes filled with freemium mechanisms that hinder you from enjoying the game for a long time.
