Brain-bending Rubik’s Cube-style game

The Rubik’s Cube was undoubtedly one of the greatest inventions of the 1970s. Now, the retro toy has been given a Twenty First Century twist with the creation of LCube for iPhone.

The object of this 3D cube game is to have every face of the cube made up of same-colored squares. To do this, you need to twist the lines of the grid horizontally and vertically. Just like the Ribik’s Cube itself, LCube proves to be a brain-boggling, yet highly addictive puzzle challenge.

There are only two grid sizes to choose from in this Lite version of LCube, 2×2 for beginners, and 6×6 for grandmasters of the puzzle. Moving the cube around is highly intuitive. You can rotate the cube through all angles and turn the rows and columns using very natural finger movements.

LCube Lite comes with a raft of options that allow you to customize your games to the hilt. For instance, you can set up the layout of the cube, change the size of the pieces, alter the background, and even apply patterns and pictures of your choosing to the squares to replace the colors.
