Send photos from your camera roll to Snapchat contacts
This program can no longer be downloadedLaterSnap lets you send photos from your photo album to you Snapchat contacts.
Choose photo & add effects
Snapchat, the popular send and destroy photo app, is meant to be fleeting, letting you take photos, send them to friends who can see them for up to 10 seconds, and then forcing the photos to self-destruct. With LaterSnap, you can’t save snaps, but you can send photos that are already on your camera roll, even adding some cool effects not available in Snapchat.\n
To use LaterSnap, you have to log in using your SnapChat credentials. Once logged in, your list of Snapchat contacts will appear. The default home screen of the app is your photo album, but you can also choose to take a photo within the app using the camera icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
Once you’ve chosen a photo, you can add text, stickers, frames, or other effects to the photo, as well as draw on it or crop it. Once you’re done editing the photo in LaterSnap, click next. Your Snapchat contact list will show up, where you can choose to send the photo to friends, or add it to your story.
Log in, get logged out
LaterSnap seems to work pretty well, and it offers more options for editing photos than Snapchat. What it doesn’t have is the option to receive photos in the app, which would effectively make it a replacement for Snapchat.
When I tested the app, I was logged out of Snapchat when I logged into LaterSnap. Snaps that were sent to me from my SnapChat contacts while I was logged into LaterSnap did not appear anywhere in the app, but required me to log back into Snapchat to view them.
Worth the hassle?
If you really want to send disappearing photos from your photo album to friends, then LaterSnap is the perfect app for it, but beware, you’ll have to log into Snapchat every time you receive a snap from a friend.
