LandPKS is a mobile app that helps users make more sustainable land management decisions by allowing them to access existing and collect new geo-located data about soils and vegetation on their land. The app helps users predict their soil and obtain access to information about the climate, habitat, and sustainability of their land. It also allows them to track the health of their soil and the vegetation on their land over time.
LandPKS has a number of modules that can be used separately or in combination. The app has a SoilHealth module that helps users monitor the health of their soil. It also has a Soil Conservation module that allows users to view sustainable land management practices from the World Overview of Conservation Approaches and Technologies (WOCAT) and filter them by their soil and land properties. Users can also track the health of their soil and the vegetation on their land over time in the Habitat module. The LandPKS app has a number of activities that allow users to track the progress they are making in a specific area. These activities include a built-in map that shows users the location of the area they are monitoring.
