kyago – Benchmarking App for Mobile Internet

kyago is a benchmarking app designed for modern smartphones that allows you to easily and comprehensively measure and evaluate your mobile internet access for all technologies such as GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSPA, LTE, LTE Advanced, and WIFI. With the help of the app, you can quickly check the bandwidth available for upload and download, as well as the average response time. Developed in Germany, kyago uses national reference systems and the highest quality standards to test the internet speed.

The app saves all the speed test results by location and time on your smartphone and in the kyago database. The app is available free of charge and without any ads. Additionally, kyago collaborates with Süddeutsche.de to anonymously evaluate and publish the results in a study on the network quality of mobile internet access. The app was developed by zafaco GmbH, a company with extensive experience in benchmarking and crowd-sourcing for leading DSL, cable, mobile service, and VoIP providers in Germany, the trade press, the German Federal Network Agency, and the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications BEREC.
