Jeevan Pramaan Face App: Generate Digital Life Certificate for Pensioners

Jeevan Pramaan Face App is a free Android application developed by National Informatics Centre. It falls under the category of Utilities & Tools. This app is specifically designed for service pensioners and family pensioners to generate a Digital Life Certificate (DLC) without the need for physical submission.

The app utilizes Aadhaar face authentication and requires the Aadhaar Face RD service, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store as “aadhaarFaceRd”. To generate the DLC, the pensioner needs to provide their Aadhaar number, PPO details, and undergo Aadhaar-based face authentication. Upon successful authentication by UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India), a DLC with a unique Pramaan-Id is generated. Additionally, a confirmatory SMS is sent to the pensioner, quoting the Pramaan-Id.

It’s important to note that this facility is only available to pensioners whose Pension Sanctioning Authority is onboarded onto JeevanPramaan. With Jeevan Pramaan Face App, pensioners can conveniently generate their DLCs and eliminate the need for submitting hard copies to the Pension Disbursing Office.
