A wonderful fantasy game
James Cameron’s Avatar is an adventure and shooting game developed by Gameloft where your mission is to protect the world of Pandora from being destroyed by humans. It has a very interesting storyline and gameplay that you will surely enjoy.
Save Pandora
The game lets you explore Pandora, a very complex world that is in danger of being destroyed because of humans. At the beginning of the game, you will be asked to choose if you are going to remain with the humans and continue exploiting Pandora or if you would defend it alongside its residents, the Na’vis. No matter which side you pick, you will be able to experience an action-packed shooting game. There is a difference when it comes to the weapons, armors, and other technology but it will not affect the chances of you winning the game.
There are times when the main plot of the game is being overlooked because the game is turning its whole focus on the war and the action. This is not entirely a bad thing but if the plot matters a lot to you, I am telling you now that it is not in-depth and is mostly used to give the game a reason for action. The bright side of being able to focus on missions is that you get to gain experience and points faster. Having enough experience up your sleeves will make it easy for you to upgrade your skills and your weapons.
Amazing graphics and effects
The visuals of Avatar is stunning and realistic. You will most especially appreciate its graphics when exploring the world of Pandora, especially during night time. The whole place starts glowing as well as the Na’vis and it gives out a surreal effect. There are also cut scenes and animations in between gameplay, which aims to continue and bridge the main plot of the game. It is also very interesting to see how the game is able to mix the world of science and fantasy together in one setting. The game elements are heavily detailed and it can leave you both awed and overwhelmed.
Other game modes
You can play side quests in the Conquest mode, where you will be tasked to explore and conquer enemy territories and camps. It does not have a direct impact on the main storyline but it can help you gain more points and experiences to upgrade your skills and weapons. There is also a multiplayer mode where up to 16 players can participate in a game of deathmatch and other survival themed matches.
Exciting adventure and shooting game
James Cameron’s Avatar is a good video game with a simple plot, exciting missions, and stunning visual effects. You will especially enjoy its 3D graphics and smooth gameplay, especially its realistic environment.
