Client to connect to last.fm
iScrobbler is an alternative scrobbling client for OS X that integrates with musical social networking site last.fm.
The reason the developers have come up with iScrobbler is because the official Mac client is often problematic, buggy and iScrobbler seems to be a lot smoother. Now that the latest version can play radio stations in iTunes, some people have done away with the official client completely.
The great thing about iScrobbler is that it’s not as memory hogging as the official client and all round generally lightweight. It does however seem a lot more intrusive than the official client. For example, iScrobbler notes exactly how long you’ve been listening to a certain track for – why would others want or need to know that? I don’t want the world to know that I’ve been listening to Pato Banton for the past 6 hours.
Other than that, iScrobbler is an extremely good alternative to the official Last.fm client – get scrobbling with it today.
