The Intel® VTune™ Amplifier XE profiling data and analysis tool for developers at all levels provides a rich set of performance data to pinpoint hotspots, threading, locks and waits, bandwidth, and more. Powerful analysis lets the user sort, filter, and visualize results on the timeline and on any source. The latest version of Intel VTune Amplifier XE includes enhanced GPU and microarchitecture profiling and OpenMP* and hybrid support.

Intel VTune, which is optimized for Intel architecture, offers three modes of operation — counter monitor, call graph profiling, and event based sampling — that work together to give developers what they need to produce high performance code. A built-in tuning assistant advises on how to improve performance, based on the results from the three profiling modes.
