The results are sorted according to Instagram users, tagged places, and hashtags used in the post to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for—whether it is the profile of a famous actor, a good vacation spot for the coming holidays, or delicious and mouth-watering desserts.
Instagram TV
Instagram TV works just like YouTube except it specializes on featuring vertical or portrait videos. Instagram also lets its users upload videos of longer length, compared to the 1-minute limit of regular timeline posts and 15-second limit of Instagram Stories. With Instagram TV (IGTV), users are allowed to upload videos with a minimum of 15 seconds and a maximum of 10 minutes.
It is dedicated completely to lengthy vertical videos that you cannot upload as a Story or a regular post. This is actually another really good way to be able to share more of your interests to your followers and other users. IGTV is often used by influencers, famous celebrities, and travel bloggers. Of course, whatever you want to do with your channel is completely up to you.
Record your Reels
However, for something that can compete with the likes of TikTok, you can try out Reels. This feature is similar to Stories and IGTV but is permanent by default and can be found in the Explore tab for browsing. You can create and edit 15-second multi-clip videos with it, using editing tools like Audio, Speed, Effects, and Timer. These can easily be found on the left side of the screen.
Simply open your IG camera and choose it at the bottom to start recording. The audio for a reel can either be chosen from the IG music library or from another reel. It has access to other features, as well, such as stickers, text option, drawing tool, augmented-reality effects, and more. It can be shared either publicly or privately, and can even behave like a Story and disappear after 24 hours.
