Light-hearted Redneck arena shooter
Immortal Redneck is a first person shooter with rogue-lite elements. Play as a reincarnated Redneck mummy and fight through three pyramids.

With all the standard trappings of rogue-lite games (randomly generated levels, skill tree, somewhat permadeath) and a basic shooter gameplay style, Immortal Redneck is an immediately mediocre experience. The bright and cartoony world tells the story of an American Redneck and his afterlife as an immortal mummy. Levels are filled with random enemies, power ups, and gold. After dying, players are returned to the central hub where they can spend collected gold on power ups. As with many similar games, the general repetition of levels can become tiresome. A fast paced movement style and responsive shooting system do help with this issue, however. Fans of arena shooters like Quake will find lots of comforting familiar feelings, but the limited content on offer make Immortal Redneck a simply average game with a few rare treats.
Been there
Immortal Redneck is a forgettable title. Every thing it attempts has been done a hundred times better before, but it isn’t without a certain silly charm.
