A Unique and Comprehensive Game Mod
Immersive Patrols is a small but impressive mod which I’ll be reviewing today. It was one of the first game mods made for skim and is well worth the download if you are looking for an immersion experience. It’s main purpose is to add a realistic feeling to skim by adding patrol stations and military hardware from previous games like Arthas: The Frozen Throne. The mod also adds small civil war battles to two major cities in the game namely Solitude and Windhelm which adds even more depth to the game as war rages across the land.
Immersive Patrols adds quite a fair amount of Stormcloven, Thalmor and Imperial patrols to Solstheim and a couple of, Reaver and Riekling raids to Windhelm. These patrols most often travel along pathways, small stories and unmarked tracks through the wilderness and dungeons of skyrim. There are also quite a number of advanced hostile creatures and normal wildlife to face on this mod, which makes things quite exciting as well as challenging. These PvE elements make Immersive Patrols a unique and well-integrated part of skyrim’s lore.

In terms of performance, this mod runs extremely well on my system and does not experience any crashes or errors. One minor glitch I did notice however, occurs while traveling to Stormwind. It’s impossible to get to Stormwind using this method without loading up the game and starting a new game. To solve this problem, I’ve been saving my progress before going there and also engaging in some major trekking. Immersive Patrols is a very impressive game mod which takes you into the great outdoors and gives you a taste of what an actual civil war could be like.
