Modding Immersive Jewelry Made Easy
Immersive Jewelry is a Jewelry Add-On, which was created by the same team who created the very popular Alternate Start mod for skyrim. The inspiration to create this mod started with a dissatisfaction with basic elements of the game’s economy. There have always been many great past and present mods which have redressed many issues of game play, such as reducing gold/gear costs, resale value, and less loot in general, such as those created by Trade and Barter, Economy of Skyrim, and Trade Routes, but still, one remaining glitch that has stayed with me over the years was the inability to change the color of a piece of jewelry using the enchantment system. I am a jewelcrafting expert, so it was frustrating that I could not just change the color of my precious stone simply because the color I wanted was not available.
After much time looking for a way to solve this problem, I eventually came across Immersive Jewelry, a unique jewelry mod which adds a variety of different gem types to your inventory, as well as many other interesting details to the game world. I started playing this mod around the time I was getting into the game for the first time, and I was thrilled to find that this made everything a lot more exciting. I was actually able to craft enchanted weapons and armor, as well as obtaining all kinds of high-quality ingredients and items to sell. The only thing that really bugged me about Immersive Jewelry was that it was not 100% compatible with the Thieves and Dragonborn expansion pack, which I found out after reading a few reviews on the site.
Since I had started to enjoy the game much more, I decided to look into modding my own jewelry, and I found that I could easily make some changes to the Immersive Jewelry items. Instead of spending a long time learning how to use the enchantments, I was able to get right to work, and within a few hours I was able to create my very own enchanted jewelry piece using my own modding tools. I made several different types of jewelry, all using the Immersive Jewelry spells I created using my new modding tool, which made it so that I didn’t need to be an expert jewelcrafting trainer in order to build enchanted jewelry. It was really fun to design these jewelry pieces, and I am very happy with the results!
