Immersive Citizens – AI Overhaul Review
Immersive Citizens – AI Overhaul is an excellent mod, which enhances the experience of playing as a member of the Imperial faction in the famous Elder Scrolls online game. The story behind this mod is that during the dark annals of the Merelda, as the Alessia family is displaced to the cold land of the Wissland, the Bretons have made the magical forces of the Tribunal to guard the Alessian people. When the Alessian forces are overwhelmed, the Bretons retreat into the tunnels that were dug to prevent winter from coming. Unfortunately the tunnels are trapped and are being slowly destroyed by the vampires, while the Emperor is forced to flee into the Merelda Palace with his small group of loyalists.
Now, some time has passed since the start of the game, as the Bretons have made a pact with the vampires to stay out of the city and allow them to hunt the Alessians wherever they go. Naturally this doesn’t go well for the Bretons, and they are forced to flee deeper into the tunnels and caves, where only a few of them manage to survive. One of these survivors is the High Priestess of Cyrodiil, Brara. She has magic powers, so she can call her ghosts back to haunt the tunnels and use them to kill any vampires that are left in the game. Immersive Citizens – AI Overhaul adds a lot of depth to this already great mod and makes playing as a vampire or a Breton feel like an actual part of the Elder Scrolls universe.
The best part is that the developers made Immersive Citizens – AI Overhaul with the idea that everybody who plays the game should enjoy it. They didn’t want to make a mod just for the sake of making more money off of people, so they put lots of effort into improving the game’s quality. And they succeeded, really. This is one of the best RPGs for the PC out there, and the developers definitely succeeded in turning something that might have been mediocre into something that can be considered top-of-the-line RPG quality.
