Lightweight image viewer for PC

ImageGlass is a free photography software for PC devices made by an independent developer named Phap Dieu Duong, also know as d2phap. It is a lightweight and open-source image viewer that enables users to view and browser their images in a fast and intuitive manner through a clean user interface.

Similar to the likes of IrfanView and FastStone Image Viewer, ImageGlass offers versatility despite its lightweight nature. It supports a wide variety of image formats and even allows for easy customization. It is available as an installable program or as a portable tool that can be used on any PC.

What is ImageGlass?

ImageGlass is a fast and lightweight image viewer that supports more than 72 image formats, including PSD and RAW. It has a clean user interface design and features a handy toolbar at the top, with all of the available options, easily visible and accessible. From the left, there are basic actions like scrolling through, rotating, and zooming in on images. Over to the right side, you then get options for a thumbnail overview of images, enable a checkerboard background, and start a slideshow.

The titles bar contains various useful information, as well. It shows the name, file path, resolution. and the size of your images at a glanceKeyboard shortcuts are available to make it easier to browse and trigger certain actions with the use of key combinations. ImageGlass boasts easy customization with the use of language packs and themes to change its looks.

Lastly, the settings menu is where you can configure options like file associations, rearranging the toolbar, and set color profiles, to name a few. If you plan to check out ImageGlass and use it for yourself, just be aware that it is strictly an image viewer and it does not offer editing tools to use with your images.

Fast, simple, and feature-packed

All in all, ImageGlass is an image viewer that delivers on its promise of speed but does not skimp on its feature set. It has most, if not, all of the tools that you will ever need, and they are organized in a neat and handy toolbar for easy access. It also supports all major image formats for best compatibility. If you don’t mind the lack of editing options, this is worth giving a try.
