iHRMS-Punjab: A Mobile App for Government Employees
iHRMS Punjab is a mobile application developed by National Informatics Centre. for government employees. It is a one-stop app that allows employees to access their service book details, including service history and education and nomination information. The app also provides features like viewing pay slips, income tax deductions, and annual salary statements.
Employees can submit requests online for increasing or decreasing advance income tax deductions, and GPF ledger and statements are also available. The app allows employees to apply for leave online and view the status of their applied leave, as well as view their leave ledger showing different types of leaves available at any moment.
The app also offers facilities for loans and advances-related details and recovery, and employees can enter requests for updating mobile numbers, email addresses, and addresses that go to the concerned authority for change. Other features include a phone and email directory of different departments, viewing government notifications of the employee’s department, and official holiday lists. The app enforces two-level authentication (employee code, password, and PIN) to access the content.
