PVP martial arts battle royale game for PC
Hunter’s Arena: Legends is a premium action game for PC that was made by Manfisco. It is a PVP fighting battle royale with a martial arts theme to it. Players will be able to take control of various characters, each with specific weapons and specialties, and battle enemies until only one remain.
Similar to MIR4 and Nakara: Bladepoint, Hunter’s Arena: Legends takes inspiration from ancient Eastern mythology and folklore to create its characters and lush and detailed open-world. It offers players multiple game modes to choose from that provide fast-paced and action-packed experiences no matter which they choose.
What is it about?
Hunter’s Arena: Legends is set in ancient Asia where peace is threatened with the release of demons by an unknown entity. Hunters from all over come together in order to stop the impending chaos. They come to discover, though, that the one responsible for what has transpired is one of their own. They are now forced to point their blades at these evil creatures, as well as each other.
Hunter’s Arena: Legends basically has three game modes that you can choose to play. There’s the PVP battle royale-style free for all slugfest. Then, you have PVE Mode wherein you can explore dungeons, defeat demons, and find loot to help you get stronger. Lastly, you can form a team of three in Trio Mode and work together to complete various objectives to achieve victory.
Combat in the game is fast-paced and requires careful timing of parries, counters. You can also use special martial arts attacks to break your opponent’s guards and hit them with a barrage of ground or aerial combos. It’s challenging and slick, but the persistent server and connection issues plaguing it detract from an otherwise fun experience and make recommending it a little tricky right now.
Held back by technical difficulties
All in all, Hunter’s Arena: Legends is a fast-paced and action-packed good time to play. It looks great, provides a nice challenge to fighting game fans, and offers enough variety to keep you wanting to come back for more. Its technical difficulties need to be addressed immediately in order to truly experience all that it has to offer.
