Hot O Meter Photo Scanner Game is a lifestyle game created by Tim Denyer and is available on iPhone. This game is purely for fun and has no actual photo detection or recognition capabilities. The game uses a scanner needle, which players long-press before playing to pre-select the game result, such as hot, crazy hot, sizzlin hot, or smokin hot. Players can also let the game choose randomly. Once the player presses scan, the scanner lights up and scans over the photo and then speaks the pre-selected or random game result.

One exciting feature of the game is the voice recorder. Players can record and use their voice instead of the Hot O Meters. By pressing the three dots menu button on the scanning screen and selecting “Record your voice,” players can record and playback voice recordings of up to 10 seconds for each of the 4 Hot O Meter game results. The game changes the pitch of the player’s voice to sound like the Hot O Meter. Players can then turn the switches ON to use their recording instead of the Hot O Meters when the Hot O Meter speaks the scan result. This means players can customize their scans to have fun with their friends.
