Premium hex grid word puzzle

Honeycomb: Word Puzzle is a paid puzzle game developed by Spiralburst Studio. This casual game will test your intellect and your vocabulary. Players are given a set of letters which they’ll then use to form words. The challenge is in making the formed words fit the tiles in a predetermined hexagonal grid. A fun part of the game is when some letters form new words in the grid.

With a minimalistic game interface and a steady difficulty progression, Honeycomb: Word Puzzle is a fun game. It has a couple of additional features to help you enjoy it with friends.

Summon the word bee

Honeycomb: Word Puzzle has a rather straightforward premise. You use every letter available and find ways to make them fit inside different stages made up of hexagonal tiles. Of course, the letters in a word should be located in adjacent tiles, although the order and the shape can go anywhere, like a winding sequence of letters in a hex grid. Completing a stage summons a cute animated bee.

The game also comes with a lot of fun and helpful features. For example, each word placed on the grid is blocked by color, making it easy to identify and distinguish. Aside from hundreds of levels already available, the game also features three levels in its Daily Challenge. You can even switch between its default Light Mode and Dark Mode for a visually comfortable experience.

Players are also given the opportunity to create their own puzzles that they can submit to the devs. Chosen entries are included in periodic Community Packs. The only challenge in this game is that as the game progresses, the words get longer and the solutions get more complex. This makes the later levels more challenging, if not outright inaccessible for casual players.

A fun casual game

While Honeycomb: Word Puzzle sounds like a game where you stuff words into a limited space, it’s actually a lot more. Its difficulty progression continues, pushing players to the limit and ultimately being enjoyable only for serious and competitive players. From switching between light and dark modes to creating your own puzzles, this game is worth the price tag and more.
