Free puzzle game
Hidden My Game By Mom is a free puzzle game from Hap Inc. Inthis simple yet addicting game, a mother hides his little boy’s Nintendo DS and you must help him find it. The game showcases traditional hidden objectgameplay, wherein you only need to tap on the screen to move items. However, while the mechanics seem too simplistic, the game is not quite that easy. Aftera few rounds, the tone of the game begins to change, and the level becomesharder.
Fun game of hunting
As mentioned, Hidden My Game By Mom showcases a very traditional hidden object gameplay. However, unlike popular games from the genre, like Where’s Waldo? and Criminal Case, this game comes with a very simple premise.
The game offers a short video before you begin the game. Included in the introductory video are the background story, the short game mechanics instruction, and the buttons you can use. Once done, you can then proceed to play the first level. Clearing the current level unlocks the succeeding levels.
The boy’s Nintendo DS—the item you need to find—is hidden within a room in the boy’s home. At the beginning of the game, it will be hidden among some of the furniture, such as under the sofa or inside the cabinet. But, as you progress, the mother will be a little creative, hiding the boy’s game inside a crocodile’s mouth or putting an entire cheer squad in front of a cabinet where the game is hidden.
There are 30 levels in the game, with the challenges getting harder as the levels progress. Players will only need to tap the 2D artwork to move objects along. They can also collect objects that can help the boy get the game.
All in all, the entire gameplay is very easy. The only thing you’ll need to do is get past the barrier that the mother put to prevent the boy from getting the Nintendo DS. Of course, you’ll also need to avoid tapping on the mother’s hiding spot. Otherwise, it is game over for you.
Simplicity is the name of the game
Hidden My Game By Mom is a fun game to play for casual puzzle lovers. Its game mechanics are simple, and unlike other games, there will be no distracting items on your screen. In fact, there are hardly any items.
There aren’t also that many levels, but that doesn’t mean you can finish the game in one sitting. Some levels are a little tricky. You’ll probably end up stuck for a bit. And while you can use your hints, you will still have a hard time getting past the obstacle. A little side note: you need to watch an ad for you to use the hint.
Completing the game’s simplicity is its design. The 2D animations are nothing special, and the dialogues are in Japanese. But it doesn’t matter since you’ll be more focused on looking for the boy’s Nintendo DS. Also, its pleasant look matches the game’s concept.
Let the hunt begin
For a simple game, Hidden My Game By Mom is surprisingly a fun game. The levels are challenging but not too hard that you’ll just drop the game out of frustration. Moreover, the scenes on every level are hilarious and entertaining. The only main bummer in the game is its relatively short run time.
