Hexen – Modular Synthesizer: A Virtual Eurorack Synthesizer for Android

Hexen is a versatile virtual modular eurorack synthesizer for Android devices. With over 50 module types to choose from, this app offers a wide range of features to create music. The app is developed by Silicon Droid Inc. and is available for free on the Google Play Store.

The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly. Simply double-click any synth module to zoom in and out, and tap and drag controls and patch cables when zoomed in. The app has a 48Khz DSP signal engine and 3D rendering engine, which provides a flexible and capable instrument right in the palm of your hand.

Hexen also includes a built-in stereo tape recorder, allowing you to master your music and export audio using the TAPE module. However, the free version has limitations, and users cannot save their racks. To activate rack saving as *.hxn files, users can upgrade with an in-app purchase.
