Multiplayer bumper car game
Hexagon Knockout is a multiplayer game developed by Mox Games. In this action title, players take control of a car and enter the arena. The goal is to become the last car standing by knocking out the other players. The game is free to download and is playable offline and online.
Hexagon Knockout comes with 12 variants of rounds, with a new game mode applied whenever you complete a round. Unfortunately, it does not have a true online matchmaking feature. You can only play with people on your Steam friends list online or via an additional controller when offline.
Knock them down
Hexagon Knockout is a virtual bumper car game. It gives you control of a car equipped with a rocket. In each round, you will enter an arena with the goal of becoming the only car inside. You will do that by knocking out the other cars by firing the rocket at them. You can also use this equipment to boost your car’s speed when pushing other cars.
There are 12 rounds in the game, and each round will apply a new mode. To achieve victory, however, it is necessary to triumph five times against other players. If you fail, you will not respawn until the next round. More than your competition, you should also be wary of the arena. Like the map in some battle royale games, it gradually crumbles as you play.
This car game is strictly multiplayer. However, as noted, you cannot play with random players online. You can only battle with your Steam friends. For offline mode, meanwhile, you need to add a controller. Besides the lack of online matchmaking, the game also has problematic controls. It could use optimization as it is pretty uncomfortable. The movement in-game is also not the greatest.
Car brawler mini-game
All in all, Hexagon Knockout is worth a look if you are into car brawlers. It has simple gameplay made exciting by the changing modes in every round. That said, it feels more like a mini-game rather than a standalone game with its content. It also lacks online and bot matchmaking, which limits your opponent. Worse, it has bad keyboard controls, making the movements awkward.
