A fun and engaging game, Hearts Card Classic is a popular game that people love to play. It is played with a standard 52-card deck among 4 players. The goal is to have the lowest points when someone reaches 100 points.

The player holding the 2 of Clubs always takes the opening lead. Players must follow suit and attempt to outrank the cards in play to the left of the 2 of Clubs. If they are unable to follow suit, any card may be played with the lead suit taking precedence over all others. If a player doesn’t have any Clubs to match the two on the first trick, they cannot play any Hearts or the Queen of Spades. In the following round, the trick winner gets to go first.

The Hearts and the Queen of Spades are counted after all cards have been dealt, and players go over any tricks they’ve won. The Queen of Spades is worth 13 points, while each heart is worth one point. The Queen of Spades and the Hearts should be avoided at all costs by players. The player “Shoots the Moon” and receives 0 points while the other players receive 26 points if they manage to win all of the Hearts and the Queen of Spades in the game.
