guide your own way through all the movies out there
Gyde is a free app that lets you build, maintain and modify a movie watch list easily. It lets you add movies from all around the globe to your watch list via its own search function, then tells you where to watch them, whether it’s Netflix, Hulu, iTunes or just about anywhere else.
A simple tool
Gyde shines brightest when you’re first learning how to use it. The user interface is beautiful, well-designed for just about any screen size, and works well for both viewing information about movies and viewing the watch list you’ve made. Its only problem is that on older phones and tablets, it may run a little slow, but for most users this won’t occur at all. Also note that Gyde does not really provide many options for limiting how much it pulls from its catalogue. You’ll see huge amounts of text and images, meaning that if you’re on a data connection, using the app will add up eventually.
Serves its many purposes
Overall, though, you won’t be using Gyde that often in situations where you don’t have plenty of data. Gyde’s first purpose to help you plan what to watch tonight, even if it can help you decide what to watch for the next week or month, too. In that role, it excels, and if you have a reasonably recent device, you should pick the app up and not look back.
