Banking made easier
GTBank is the official and free banking app developed by Guaranty Trust Bank for its customers to manage their accounts seamlessly. With it, users can perform secure online banking transactions from their devices. It is a revamped version of the bank’s previous mobile app.
GTBank lets you view your account balances, access transaction history previews, fund transfers, pay different billers, purchase airtime and data bundles across all networks, and manage your cards. It also provides access to GTBank Mobile Money to effortlessly make payments and send money to your family, friends, and even non-GTBank account holders.
Do banking transactions and more
The new GTBank app includes overhauled features, including a much more intuitive user interface and added functionality to help you achieve hassle-free online banking. Aside from the features previously mentioned, the app also lets you transfer money to your personal accounts or other banks, request your statement of account, confirm and manage cheques, and receive in-app messages regarding updates and promos.
The app also offers the option to switch to and make transactions with Mobile Money, also called mwallet, for simple payments and money transfers to family and friends even if they are not bank holders. To get started, simply input your user ID and password or register if you haven’t yet, by dialing 7376*5# if you don’t have a password, or 7377# if you need to register your device.
Although, one setback to the app is contained within its transaction history preview feature because it only shows your last 10 transactions. This issue can be a bummer if you’re trying to track older transactions. If you need to view your past 10 transactions, you can still contact the bank’s customer service or request a copy of your statement of account.
Excellent for quick banking transactions
GTBank and its updated app offer a more user-friendly interface and added features for easier online banking. The app allows you to perform various banking activities and use the Mobile Money feature to make payments and transfers. Its only drawback is its transaction history previews only display your past 10 transactions, but can still be resolved in a couple of ways.
