Grief Trigger – A Game That Helps You Overcome Grief

Grief Trigger by Indignation is an adventure game that takes you on a journey with Azrael as he tries to overcome the grief of his father’s death. The game is available on Windows and comes with a full version license.

In the game, you play as Azrael, guided by an old journal, searching 6 levels to uncover grief triggers and eliminate Automatic Negative Thoughts (ANTs) within them. The game features asymmetric turn-based combat where the player and ANT share a health bar and fight for total supremacy over it. During the player phase, you intercept the ANT by selecting the correct locations on the field to regain health. During the enemy phase, you survive bullet hells by dodging incoming projectiles and solving puzzles to prevent the ANT from taking back health.

What makes Grief Trigger unique is its non-linear progression, allowing players to complete the grief triggers in any order they wish. The game can be completed inhours, making it a concise experience. The comfy-style illustrations and fully voiced cutscenes add to the immersive experience of the game.
