Double the horror

As if the first installment is not terrifying enough, Granny: Chapter 2 doubles the scare factor by making your escape more challenging and spine-chilling. What’s new is that Granny’s no longer alone and players will have to run not only from Granny herself but also from an equally murderous Grandpa. Granny: Chapter 2 is a horror game that will definitely make your screen crawl. If you think you can survive and make it out the house alive, feel free to give it a try.

Bloody hide-and-seek

You do not need any knowledge about the first game to enjoy Granny: Chapter 2. Just like any other popular horror games, the goal of the game is to escape. How you will do that is what makes everything challenging, not to mention downright scary because a pair of murderous grandparents will chase you around the house as you look for the keys that will unlock the door. And as if the chase is not challenging enough, there are also bear traps blocking your way in every turn. Most of the time, getting caught in them would be inevitable, and you would have to shake them off as quickly as you can before your psycho grannies show up! It’s like playing a bloody game of hide-and-seek with the added challenge of solving puzzles to find the door keys. 

You can run, you can hide

Even if the graphics are not on the same level as other top horror games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent, the crazed look of your grannies, with soulless eyes and sharp teeth, is terrifying enough to make you scream. You do not have to meet them face to face all the time though, so that’s a relief. While fighting back is not allowed the game, many available hiding spots can help you avoid the attacks of granny. May it be under the bed, inside the closet, or even crouching down behind doors and tables, players are at least given a bit of reprieve. You will still have to be careful when moving around though because the grannies have sharp hearing and can hear the softest creaks and footsteps. Players will basically have to run around undetected and hide as they search for the keys because fighting back is not an option. 

Horror in your pockets

Granny: Chapter 2 is a game that you can play anytime and anywhere. The controls are also simple with a sensitivity that is configurable to whatever you are most comfortable with. The idea of escaping from monsters, ghosts, or psychos in an eerie building or house is nothing new but Granny: Chapter 2 will still give you a good scare.
