Gpx2Ge Converts Waypoints, Routes and Tracks from GPX to KMZ/KML in a few steps.

Gpx2Ge converts Waypoints, Routes and Tracks from GPX to KMZ/KML format so they can be uploaded to other softwares and maps. It is useful if you have files from GPS units (saved in GPX format) and you want to convert to KMZ or KML format in order to upload it to Google Earth.

How to proceed:

1- Download and save your points from the GPS in GPX format using any software provided by your GPS’s manufacturer (i.e. Garmin Mapsource).

2- Load that file using Gpx2Ge.

3- Then save the KMZ or KML converted file.

There are very few programs that can perform this type of conversion. This is a very easy program to use and allows you to select specifically which data to be converted and which not.
