Free fantasy idle and merging game
Gold and Goblins: Idle Miner for iOS is a tap game. It’s more than a tap game; it’s a hybrid of idle and merging games. The aim is to find gold. Gold can be collected either by manually by goblins or automatically through a mining hut. The ‘hut’ or game will accumulate gold in the background if you’re not playing, so you’ll continue to win even though you’re not playing. To play, you’ll have to manually hatch goblins and drag them to the appropriate rock.
How do you play Gold and Goblins?
Gold and Goblins: Idle Miner is a vertical strategy game for mobile by AppQuantum. There are five choices at the bottom of the screen. The choice in the center displays a goblin, a gold coin, and a number. This tells you how much it costs to buy a goblin; in Gold and Goblins, the price of each goblin varies.
When you buy a goblin, a wooden barrel bursts out of a cannon and into the left side of the playing field. To hatch one goblin, you must click on the barrel. It’s a superfluous feature, but hopefully, the developers can add the option to summon a goblin after you’ve bought it. One tip is to buy an even number of goblins so that you can combine them all together.
For example, suppose you buy four goblins. This allows you to make two stronger goblins, which can also be combined. What’s odd is that when you combine the two new ones, the game says it’s only been combined three times. This means that instead of multiplying the goblins, the game only counts the number of times you dragged them together.
Simple crossover game
Gold and Goblins: Idle Miner is more of a merger game with offline play. This is because the more you task goblins to clear the playing area and go on to the next mine, the more you advance in the game. Idle mode collects gold for you, which you can use to buy more goblins the next time you play. Aside from removing needless barrels and refining the merger rules, the game provides a fun experience for casual gamers.
