Free racing and dress-up game
Glitch Gacha Neon Race Fans is a free arcade game from El horri Rachida. This combines various game elements, although it takes visual inspiration from the hit RPG, Gacha Club. In terms of gameplay, it’s essentially a racing game with new and original outfits at stake. Players are pitted against each other across different obstacle courses. You run and jump across 3D courses for a chance to win a new costume.
With its cute anime-style characters and wholesome gaming premise, Glitch Gacha Neon Race Fans presents a fun casual game that works even for young players.
A slightly more challenging gacha game
In terms of design, Glitch Gacha Neon Race Fans heavily draws inspiration from Gacha Club. It features bright color palettes of varying themes, plus small anime-style characters. Like most games inspired by the Lumine app, it also allows for extensive customization options. It is intended to let players express themselves through their virtual avatars. In this game, however, you get to earn new outfits by completing and winning races.
It also offers a different gameplay experience, which is refreshing although more limited than other Gacha standalone mods. Unlike the varied features of the Battle Mode, it’s more of a Roblox custom race. You go around obstacle courses that contain gaps and walls that you need to scale. As a child-friendly game, there’s no depiction of violence or death. Your characters only get knocked back or fall into shallow gaps.
Unfortunately, like most free games, it also suffers from having a lot of ads. Expect full screen ads that are unskippable for a couple of seconds, complete with the unbelievably small exit button. It appears after every game, and sometimes when you change between windows in the game. Additionally, as a standalone game, it doesn’t integrate with other games and leaves you with little to do after earning those outfits.
Niched and ad-filled
If you like obstacle courses incentivized by unique outfits, then Glitch Gacha Neon Race Fans is for you. It offers a variety of tracks for you to race against other players. Winning gives you unique costumes, serving as additional personalization options as well as a trophy everyone else can see. While it’s definitely less versatile than other Gacha games, plus the incessant ads, it still works for the right audience.
