All Google services at a glance
If you’re anything like me, you probably spend half of your day using different Google tools: Gmail, Calendar, Reader, Docs, Analytics and so on, without forgetting other bigger apps like Blogger or YouTube.
GButts is the perfect Firefox add-on for people like you. With GButts you can access all Google services in just one click, thanks to a series of customizable shortcuts you can add anywhere on Firefox interface.
All you have to do is install the extension and then access its configuration options in Tools > Add-ons. GButts will then let you choose which Google services you’re interested in, how you want those buttons to be displayed (either as a new toolbar or as a drop-down menu) and other options related to the extension’s behavior when opening tabs. Unfortunately there’s no way to sort buttons. Also, if you don’t see the toolbar immediately, go to View > Toolbars > Customize and choose the GButts toolbar there.
GButts supports pretty much all available Google services (though you can still find some missing ones, like Google InSights) and is easy to set up and use. I’d suggest using the drop-down option – the toolbar takes too much space – and sending an email to the developer in case you miss any other Google service.
GButts is the easiest and quickest way to access your favorite Google tools and services right from the Firefox interface.
