Keep track of your Paypal payments

If you are a heavy user of a PayPal, then you should have some way of keeping track of your payments and outgoings.

Paypal provides it’s own limited services for this but GaragePay goes a lot further by providing a complete archive with which you can download, view, search and archive all your transactions made through PayPal. In the main GaragePay window, you have a list of revenues and expenses. Selecting any one of these reveals several details such as who the transaction was for, at what time, the subject etc.

GaragePay also allows you to shortlist transactions in order of date, size, amount etc. It also allows you to keep track of orders and payments from specific people or organizations such via “Smart Folders”. If you want to print out any of the data, you can export to a CSV file and do it from there.

One of the most useful functions of GaragePay is that you can do all of this offline. It can download all of your PayPal data so you can work offline organizing and archiving your data as you like. The safety of this is a little bit concerning although the developers maintain that GaragPay uses a highly encrypted database to store all data.

Whether it’s for eBay or invoices, GaragePay is a smarter way to track your PayPal payments than by using PayPal alone.
