The easiest way to clean your photo library

Cleaning your photo library can be a laborious and boring process, or at least it used to be until Gallery Doctor came along. This app automates most of the process, and makes the rest of the job almost as fun as a game.

Clean your gallery once and for all

Gallery Doctor is designed to eliminate all your poor quality, blurred, duplicated and even just dull photos. It has a few tricks that can help you find photos you probably don’t want any more.

First of all, there’s the analysis. Gallery Doctor automatically analyzes all the photos on your device, and puts them into three categories: Bad photos, Similar Photos and Photos for Review.

Bad photos can be categorized as such for being too dark, blurry or even boring. When you use the app, you also train it to recognize what you think is ‘bad’ or not, so Gallery Doctor gets more accurate.

Similar Photos are just what they sound like. Groups of photos that are almost alike. There’s no way you really need all five versions of the photo you took of that coffee in that café. Gallery Doctor chooses what it thinks is the best, and lets you decide whether to keep the rest.

Photos for Review are ones Gallery Doctor is not sure how to classify. This could be quite a lot of photos, but sorting them is easy. Just flick through them like profiles on Tinder – right for photos you want, and left for those you don’t. It’s quick, intuitive, and fun.

Sorting your gallery has never been so easy

Gallery Doctor’s start page gives you an overview of the state of the photo roll on your device, with a percentage score for its health. The more photos you have that the app thinks are bad or need reviewing, the worse your score.

Each section of the app fits its function perfectly. It’s simple to choose which pictures you want to keep out of a group of similar ones, and to mark the photos you want to save from the list of bad ones.

An essential photo library tool

Efficient and accurate, you’ll probably find you can’t live without Gallery Doctor once you’ve tried it.
