A lightweight and secure VPN
Galaxy VPN – Free VPN Unlimited time traffic is a free VPN service that connects you to a fast network that allows you to remain anonymous while surfing the web. This security and privacy tool from GalaxyLab also works with public WiFi networks, so your data can stay protected wherever you go.
There are no usage limits when it comes to Galaxy VPN – Free VPN Unlimited time traffic. However, like NordVPN, you can only access a smaller set of servers unless you purchase a premium subscription. Purchasing this also allows you to remove ads from the app.
What does it offer?
Galaxy VPN – Free VPN Unlimited time traffic offers a simple and easy-to-use platform that only requires a single tap for you to connect to a server. You also have the option to choose from other available servers located in the United States, Japan, and United Kingdom among others. Keep in mind, however, that it’s best to remain automatically connected to the optimized server for your location to avoid disconnection issues.
There are also two routing options available — proxy all and smart routing — so you can choose one that best suits your needs. Unfortunately, though, the app has a number of issues that make it quite difficult to use. Simply connecting to the service takes a significant amount of time. There are also instances where the app will say you have successfully connected even when you have not.
In relation to the previously mentioned bug, nearly every action you take within the app will require you to watch an ad before the action can be processed; this includes connecting to a server. There are some instances where even after watching an ad, the action you take does not push through, which requires you to watch yet another pop-up.
Not the best option
While Galaxy VPN – Free VPN Unlimited time traffic is a very promising app, it’s admittedly quite forgettable when comparing it to other applications that offer the same services on the market. Not only do you have to frequently deal with trouble connecting to a server, but the pop-ups that you are required to watch also don’t even fully guarantee that you can successfully link to a server.
