Bowl strikes without ever leaving the house in Galaxy Bowling
Galaxy Bowling is a 3D bowling simulator for up to four players. You can choose your ball, select different game modes and compete in traditional ten-pin bowling or a variety of other games. Options include five-pin, nine-pin, skittles and more. Some of these variants come with the game, while others are unlockable as in-app purchases. As you complete challenges, you’ll unlock new balls and progress to new areas of the bowling galaxy. You can play with up to three friends locally or match your skill against others on the online leaderboards.
We’re gonna bowl tonight
Galaxy Bowling features well-executed 3D graphics, although there’s a limit to the level of graphics you need out of what is fundamentally a pretty simple bowling game. The swipe and tilt controls are easy to use, but the mouse controls on the PC version are a little fiddly, they’re very sensitive and will take a good deal of getting used to. Once you’ve got the hang of them, though, the game is smooth and easy to understand. The free content is enjoyable but limited.
How much do you like bowling?
Ultimately, Galaxy Bowling is a bowling simulator. If you like bowling a lot and want to play a variety of different games with your friends, it’s likely to appeal to you. If not, you’re not going to find a lot of other gameplay features to enjoy.
