Find out if you received mail
FTDA – Extranet is a free tool that functions as the extranet of France Terre d’Asile (FTDA), a non-profit organization dedicated to asylum rights. It is where French users can check for received mail at reception centers. Straightforward and user-friendly, it doesn’t require complex settings or inputs to use.
No additional settings required
Operating the FTDA – Extranet app is easy, just type your card number under “Numéro de carte/Card Number,” tap the “Valider/Submit” button, and you’re all done. Typing the incorrect card number will cause a pop-up to appear on the screen, alerting you that a user has not been found.
Unfortunately, not all texts in the app have English translations—which can be a bit of a struggle for individuals who are not proficient in French. Moreover, it can also benefit from a built-in card scanner to reduce instances of typos due to manual input.
Easy to use, but needs a card scanner
Although FTDA – Extranet is a fuss-free app, it could use additional features like a card scanner to ensure faster, error-free inputs. However, not everything in the app is translated into English, so you may have to use a translation tool to understand certain texts.
