Friendly HUD: A Wizard’s Blade
Made For The Witcher 3 is the new version of the popular turn-based RPG game played on-line and it features an all new story line with added real-time combat. In this game players take control of one of several different characters trying to accomplish the ultimate task set before them-avenging evil throughout the land. As each level is beaten, more powerful units are unlocked and the journey becomes easier and the enemies more difficult. Friendly HUD does away with the need to sit back and wonder what is going on around you as the game progresses as you instead get a direct experience by interacting with the game and by taking direct action. With some quick learning curves as well as a few handy add-ons, made for the wizzard modding community, Friendly HUD is an extremely fun addition to the game.
What makes Friendly HUD a good game for those who have never played the classic game before is that aside from the fact that there are several little unique features that make the game world come alive, it is also very easy to get the hang of the game in a short period of time. For example, instead of having to wait for a menu to pop up over the top of your current action, the game now allows you to move the camera freely around the screen to see all your progress right from the top of your character’s head down to the bottom of their foot. When you are in combat, using a sprint key will make your character move a lot faster, and if you are in need of healing, a heal button will do the trick. You can also now equip your units with a variety of different items, including armor, weapons, shield, and arrows, besides equipping them with certain special abilities and upgrades as well.
These additions to the game world by Friendly HUD make the game much more alive and exciting to play, without sacrificing any of the complexity that comes with other popular MMO games such as World of Warcraft or Age of Conan. The new HUD system, known as the Quinius Prime, also adds a number of questing aids, such as dynamic quest path markers and mini map quest indicators, which help greatly in questing. If you want to become a master of the witcher’s blade, you will need to make sure to take advantage of the Friendly HUD add-on as well as its excellent combat features, because the game is not going to go anywhere, especially after the Wizardry expansion is out.
