A powerful creativity tool
Freeform is a free application for iOS devices that offers a blank canvas for creativity and collaboration. As a whiteboard, Freeform allows you to put down all of your thoughts and ideas about a project in one place, not bound by structure.
Like other organization and collaboration apps before it, such as Microsoft Whiteboard and Evernote, Freeform helps you capture ideas and shape projects using whatever method you like, be it note-taking, doodling, or pinning inspirational images. These ideas can then be shared with others.
Sourcing inspiration
To help bring your ideas to life, Freeform presents a variety of useful tools and features. Add photos, videos, audio, links, and documents or PDFs to your board and use them for inspiration for your project. Finally, you can draw anywhere on the whiteboard using just your finger as a stylus.
You can also scan documents and archive or annotate them in the app. Freeform has a giant library of over 700 shapes as well, which you can use to make your documents look how you imagine. There are also alignment guides available to format your documents specifically to maximize your message.
Working with others
Freeform can be used to work independently, but it’s just as effective when collaborating with others. You can invite your friends or colleagues to your board to share their creativity in real-time. With support for up to 100 unique collaborators, Freeform is ideal for large teams looking to share their work.
Thanks to its part in the Apple ecosystem, Freeform also allows for communication with collaborators over Messages or FaceTime. Furthermore, Freeform boards are stored in Apple’s iCloud, allowing you and others to sync the latest changes across all your devices.
A space to collaborate
Freeform is an application that provides you with the space to put down your ideas, notes, and inspiration for all of life’s projects. When working with others, you can open up your board and brainstorm freely and in real time.
