System information utility for PC
Free PC Audit is a free utility program for PC devices made by developer MIS Utilities. This Windows tool helps users extract system information about their computers. It covers aspects such as hardware, software, and even provides details about processes running in the background.
Similar to Speccy, the way that Free PC Audit works is it runs a complete diagnostics scan of PCs in order to gain essential information. This data can then help users with their needs for a variety of different purposes and use cases. All of this, through a simple and easy-to-understand user interface.
The essentials
Personal computing has always strived to move forward with better user experiences. However, things can get a bit complex for the average consumer as manufacturers push for new technologies and hardware. It can be a little daunting to keep track and understand everything that goes on inside your computer. That’s why system analysis tools are a must for any modern PC user, and Free PC Audit is one such example.
This program is a lightweight and portable utility that will help you scan your system, and provide you with vital information about it. The Brief tab offers a basic overview, including your operating system, CPU, and RAM. The System section lists down virtually every aspect of your PC in more detail. Meanwhile, Software will display all the programs that are currently installed on your computer.
Lastly, there’s the Processes tab where you can check all programs running in the background. You can export all this data to a text file for reference, but you can also copy specific lines of information just as easily, too. Just note, though, that as of this writing this utility does not support Windows 11 yet. You’ll have to wait for compatibility to be added in future updates.
System information at a glance
Overall, Free PC Audit is a handy little tool that can help you understand your PC better. It’s fast, portable, and offers plenty of information for just about every type of user out there. The fact that it’s completely free is just a nice bonus on top of everything it can do. This is a system analysis utility that is worth considering.
