Post-apocalyptic adventure game

Fostering Apocalypse is an adventure game developed for PC by an independent game studio, Incisor Studios. This indie title is a point-and-click game with a post-apocalyptic theme. It contains a deep and intricate narrative that fans of the genre will want to play through and experience.

Similar to Sally Face and Dinner With An Owl, Fostering Apocalypse features a darker and more mature tone in its storytelling. This premium game can be purchased and played directly from the developer’s website or the online game storefront, Steam. Those who will donate will also receive various extras like an art book and the OST.

What is Fostering Apocalypse about?

Fostering Apocalypse takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting during the year that it calls 19XX. The world has been lost to a demon apocalypse that ravaged the land and leaving only a few dozen people alive in its wake. It has become a hopeless and barren wasteland where trust is hard to come by. You play as Del, a bruiser who goes on random patrols in her truck. She, like everyone else, has become hardened by the world.

Despite what has already happened to the world, there are still those who wish for the end of days and attempt to summon the demon apocalypse again for a second time. During one of your patrols, you stumble upon a pillar of fire, which signifies that someone is trying to call forth evil, but what you saw was no more than an innocent demon child in front of you named Barrett.

You now get to decide what fate lies ahead for the demonling from those that want to destroy him and those who wish to control him to their ends. Fostering Apocalypse can be gotten directly from the developer’s itch.io web page or Steam. Some might argue that its less than an hour playthrough is rather short, but that really depends on the player.

An intriguing post-apocalyptic narrative

All in all, if you’re a fan of post-apocalyptic games, then take a look at Fostering Apocalypse. It features a distinct art style that goes well with its overall theme and an intriguing narrative story to go along with it. Its relatively short run time might give some players pause, but it is worth experiencing at least once.
