Newest FM installment

Football Manager 2022 is a sports game developed by SEGA. The latest in the popular football management franchise, this app will bring modern improvement to its already impressive offering. Note, however, that this is only a demo game and will not include all features.

Football Manager 2022 will have the same gameplay as its predecessor. You will still build a world-class backroom team, this time from more than 500,000 real players. You can also play your way to the top of 123 football leagues. However, you will have a heap of different systems designed to emulate everything about football.

What’s new in Football Manager 2022?

At its core, Football Manager 2022 retains the same gameplay as its predecessors. Here, you can still manage your own team and participate in various football leagues. There are more than 500,000 real players for you to discover and hone and 123 leading football tournaments to join. Moreover, you can watch your footballing strategy executed by immersing yourself in the best-looking Matchday experience.

As with every installment, this game will also bring improvements. The most notable is the new match engine, which trades the Sensible Soccer look of the previous Football Managers and replaces it with something that resembles FIFA. You can also take advantage of the new Data Hub. This utilizes the same metrics and reporting methods as real-life clubs. Moreover, you can form a well-oiled machine with true-to-life staff meetings.

However, this does not mean that Football Manager 2022 is without flaws. Players appear to get injured a whole lot more, hurting themselves even on the most basic training routines. The information you want from scouts is also harder to find, requiring a couple more clicks to determine if a player is the right choice. Finally, the game is prone to crashing, especially when making a substitute during a match.

Is the game good?

Overall, Football Manager 2022 is a must-play for existing FM fanatics. The game brings back everything you love about the franchise with improvements to enhance your experience. There are more players to draft and more helpful managerial features at your disposal. However, while it is evidently better than Football Manager 2021, a couple of minor issues will grate series fans. Nevertheless, it is still a recommended game.
