Font picker and with font comparison feature
Choosing an appropriate font for a given text can be a real pain, so you better count on an application like Font Picker to help you do the job.
This easy tool has one single window (no setting options or any other extra menu whatsoever) where it displays two or three different fonts from the ones you have in your system, depending on the number of columns you select.
The window doesn’t have a maximization button and it doesn’t resize properly, which sometimes makes it difficult to manage the program. On the positive side, Font Picker allows to see fonts with a sample text or the character map, as well as apply text format effects and change text and background color.
FontPicker is a free font picker and font compare tool. It offers a choice of one, two or three font columns. Each column can display a separate font, or the same font with different sizes, styles and colors.
Options include left, right and center text alignment, and bold, italic, underline and all-caps (all capital letters) font styles. The current configuration is automatically save on closing the application.
The sample text viewed in each column can be edited with normal Windows keystrokes (del or crtl-X to delete; ctrl-V to paste)
FontPicker provides a character map for each font panel. Clicking on a font character copies it to the Windows Clipboard. As well, the startard ALT numbers are shown for keyboard entry of special characters.
