FNF Funkin Rap Battle Full Mod is a free-to-play music game from Rocket Game Studio. In this standalone mod based on the hit rhythm game Friday Night Funkin’, you enjoy a full library of good tracks as you try and beat enemies in various rap battle-themed encounters.
Enjoy different backgrounds and aesthetics across your battles in FNF Funkin Rap Battle Full Mod. From the 3D animatronic vibes of Five Nights at Freddy’s to a 1930s design similar to Cuphead, featuring a Mickey Mouse rip-off. Like most mobile games, unfortunately, ads remain the biggest issue in this otherwise enjoyable game.
A versatile custom game
FNF Funkin Rap Battle Full Mod is built upon Friday Night Funkin’ or FNF. It is an open-source rhythm game anyone can modify. The base game feels like a combination of the old PaRappa the Rapper game but with a premise reminiscent of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. You control the Boyfriend who must defeat different enemies in order to continue seeing your Girlfriend.
Every level here is referred to as “weeks,” often divided into three song challenges. This mod has seven full weeks for you to enjoy. Aside from the increasingly difficult weeks, each of these levels also has a changeable difficulty setting. As a rhythm game, it’s pretty straightforward and revolves around a responsive game kit. There are only four directional pads to follow, although it still gets challenging.
Lastly, this game features a good set of music tracks that make it fun to play over and over again. Aside from the in-game tracks, the background music between stages and through the menus is also noteworthy. Sadly, as mentioned above, there are way too many ads for this game. Almost every screen you move across is punctuated with a 15 or 30-second ad, some of them unskippable.
Worth it
With the music and the smooth gameplay that comes with FNF Funkin Rap Battle Full Mod, it’s still worth the price even if it was a paid game. This is especially true if a premium access would save you from all the ads that will be testing your patience and interrupting your otherwise enjoyable experience. Again, good music and good app response make this game a must-try.
