Advanced file manager with powerful features
Windows Explorer is often accused of being too simple. This is why using an alternative file manager like FlexTk Express is not a bad idea.
FlexTk Express is one of those alternative file managers that enable you to control all folders and files in your hard drive. Besides this basic functionality, the program hides some really nice aces up its sleeve such as a duplicate file finder, a file hash checker and a file analyzer and classifier. This means that apart from browsing the contents of your system, you’ll be able to locate duplicate files, see the most frequent file types in your hard drive and check the size of your folders with FlexTk Express –which I personally found really useful. I also loved FlexTk Express’ button system to move around the folder hierarchy.
On the downside, the duplicate file tool on FlexTk Express is not as intuitive as I expected it to be. It does locate duplicate files, but I’m not that sure about the criteria used by the program, not did I like the way you delete them, which is far from being easy.
FlexTk Express is an great file explorer with some nice extra tools, some of which could be improved.

FlexTk is an advanced file management toolkit allowing one to classify and categorize files, analyze storage utilization, identify duplicate files, free-up wasted storage space and verify integrity of complete file systems.
All file management tools are integrated around a unique file navigator with built-in bookmaking and filtering capabilities. In addition, FlexTk provides performance-optimized and fault-tolerant file copy, move and delete operations especially tuned for high-speed migrations of vast amounts of data over Gigabit Ethernet.
The FlexTk’s built-in file navigator allows one to browse file systems and launch any of the existing file management tools in a single mouse click. For example, just select a number of directories and/or files in the file navigator and press the ‘Classify’ button on the main product toolbar to classify all the selected files and directories including all subdirectories. All operations such as file system classification, storage utilization analysis, duplicate files detection, etc. are accessible in the same way – select a number of directories and/or files and press an appropriate tool button on the main product tool bar.
