Set up your farm on an island paradise
Trade with Other Islands
One of the game mechanics allows you to trade some of your items with other islands, but many people are having trouble connecting with other players in order to trade. As a result, some players may have to play longer in order to earn the materials they need to expand. This is not a deal-breaking problem, since the game stands on its own as a single-player game. Take a trip to a volcano or monkey temple, or try the uncharted areas and maybe find the sunken city. Many of the changes are obviously for novelty value, but that is not a bad thing for people that enjoyed previous Farmville games and who are looking for a change of scenery.
The app is rather well known for having stability problems, which means you may have difficulties loading, or the sound may go off, or notifications may freeze the screen. The same version of Unity has been used that Pokémon Go uses, and it just doesn’t fit with this game.
Story-Based Quests
You may earn coins by trading or by going on quests. As you play the game, you qualify for different quests and unlockables that are located on the island. If you click on things such as the mermaid or king monkey temple, you will see what you need in order to qualify. If you wish to earn coins by trading with other islands, then you may be out of luck because it can be tricky to connect with other players. However, the game stands on its own as a single-player game, which means you can eventually expand if you grind away for long enough. The quests offer you a method of acquiring new materials or earning coins, and they are a pleasant distraction from the grind of watching plants grow.
FarmVille: Tropic Escape is very easy and very similar to FarmVille Country Escape. The fact it is easy is not a criticism, but it is a deterrent for people that want a challenge. The planting mechanism has been improved, which will please hardcore Farmville fans and reaching later levels offers a fair amount of amusement.
The pretty colors and low stress levels are ideal for gamers that want a light and easy game. FarmVille: Tropic Escape offers a fair amount of escapism, and the bright colors, boldly drawn characters and shiny world give the users a very light and charming method of fantasy escape. The game is very easy, which may lead to some people being bored by the lack of a challenge, but FarmVille has never been about throwing down a challenge, and fans of the series will appreciate the lower-level of difficulty within the game.
The game feels a little unfinished and in need of a big update to fix the systemic bugs. This would not be so upsetting if it were not for the game’s insistence upon people spending money. It is very difficult to obtain certain materials that are needed to expand buildings. Not only that, but people have bought gems and then had the game crash where they have lost the gems they paid real money for.
The FarmVille: Tropic Escape app is very similar to Country Escape, and is obviously set with the same gameplay and game mechanics as previous FarmVille games. The big difference is that you have to set up your farm on an island paradise.
There are a slew of new crops and exotic animals to discover, and there are mini games to be played with the dolphins and monkeys. The game is free to download, and there are in-app purchases to be had. The game has all the old Farmville charm and is ideal for people that are already fans of the series.
