Developed by Grenaa Games, Fabledom is a quirky yet intriguing addition to the city-building game genre. Unlike similar titles that focus on more modern civilizations, this simulator takes you to a rustic, medieval town straight out of a fairytale. Instead of playing a mayor, you will become either a prince or a princess in this one.

Grow a city and find potential love

Currently, Fabledom is playable in Early Access mode. In the beginning, you get to choose whether you want to play as a Prince or a Princess, as well as pick a preference for romantic prospects. The latter is necessary as pursuing someone is staked to play a large role in the development of your settlement.

You have to pick an ideal spot for your settlement and grow it accordingly. Resources like food and wood must be managed well, or else the consequences will be dire. You can also delegate tasks to the citizenry. However, many players reported bugs, which are expected to be fixed in later updates.

Refreshing with its romantic aspect

Fabledom spins the typical city-building game into something whimsical and fantastical. While it employs the usual gameplay mechanics of the sub-genre, such as growing a town and managing its resources or delegating tasks to citizens, it also has fresh factors, like the romance aspect. It’s currently available in Early Access mode.
